Most installs are a half-day job and we haul the old basin out.
Clean removal, clean install
We isolate the supplies, cut the drain free, remove the old basin (including any rusted legs or wall brackets), set the new tub level, install new 1/4-turn supplies and faucet, run a code-compliant P-trap and vent connection, and pressure-test under flow. No drywall damage, no leaks.
Washing machine standpipe & box
If your washer drains into the laundry tub (a common older-home setup) we can correct that with a proper recessed washer box, lever-operated hot and cold valves, and a 2" standpipe with its own trap. Eliminates suds backup into the basin and meets current code.
Utility tub upgrades
Going from a small basin to a 24-gallon double tub? We adjust the drain location, extend supplies, and confirm the venting can carry the larger fixture-unit load.
Got questions?
Frequently asked questions
Can you replace just the faucet on my existing tub?
Yes — we install single- or two-handle utility faucets on existing basins. We'll also check the supply lines and shut-offs while we're there.
Are you licensed, bonded and insured?
Yes. Nava's Elite Plumbing carries a current California master plumber registration, $1M general liability coverage, and workers' comp on every technician. A certificate of insurance naming you or your property manager is available on request before we start.
Do you give upfront pricing?
Every job is quoted in writing before any work begins. We price by scope, not by the hour, so the number you approve is the number you pay — barring scope changes you approve in writing.
Do you require money down?
No deposit on standard service calls. On larger projects (repipes, sewer replacements, gas line installs) we phase work into progress payments tied to city inspection milestones — you never pay ahead of completed work.
